Player Registration Questions and Answers
Q. When can I register as a player for Spring?
A. You can start to register for the Spring 2010 season on ??????. All players must pay all fines before they can register for Spring 2010 season!!! Click here to view current yellow and red card list.
Q. Where can I register?
A. At the start of each season there will be an open house for team captains or players to register. Walk up registration is possible at our sign up location, Soccer Etc., for the entire Season. Online registration will also be available.
Q. Do I need to fill out a ISSA form?
A. Yes. ISSA forms are needed from every player for insurance coverage from the league to cover every player. ISSA
forms are good from FALL to SPRING. If you played in the FALL you do not have to fill out a form in the SPRING. When you sign up for the FALL season, you need to fill out a ISSA form for every team.
Q. Do I need to leave a picture?
A. Yes. Every Player must leave a DIGITAL PICTURE with their registration, or, have Soccer Etc take a picture for them as part of their registration. Soccer Etc can take pictures of Players.
Q. What kind of Picture does the SISL need?
A. Players need to submit a DIGITAL PICTURE for player registration. The picture should be no bigger then 300 kb and be a head shot. No hats, bandanas, profile pictures (side view of head), or sunglasses.
Q. Can I register ON LINE?
A. Yes. Player will be able to register on line when Team Registrations ends.
Q. How much does it cost to register ON LINE?
A. The player fee to register on line will be slightly increased to cover processing cost. See our fee schedule on our Online Registration page. Payment is done through PayPal.
Q. How much does it cost to register at Soccer Etc?
A. Player registration fees is set each season, and remains $50 per season.
Playing on a second team cost an additional $15.
Q. Where can I get a ISSA form?
A. ISSA forms are available at Soccer Etc. (located on Fairview across from Channel 7 building)
Q. Can I register during the regular season, fall or spring?
A. Yes, you can register during the regular season at any time. Registration fees increase for returning players in the league to register after normal player registration time. On average, 3 weeks is allow for normal registration. If you are a new player to the league you can register anytime during the season for normal fee.
Q. If I am a referee, do I need to pay?
A. NO. Referees for the league play for free. Online registration is available for referees and ARs.
Q. Does the SISL accept checks?
A. NO. The SISL will not take checks. Paying with cash and a credit or bank card is possible at our drop off location, Soccer Etc. The SISL only accepts VISA and Mastercards.
Q. Can I pay for registration with my credit or bank card?
A. A player can pay for normal player registration, and, pay for additional teams (dual player), using their Visa or Master cards. Team captains or reps can also pay for several players at once using a credit or bank card. This is offered at Soccer Etc.
Q. Can I use my credit or bank card to pay for fines?
A. NO. No other fines, such as, yellow or red card for example, can be paid using the Credit Card machine at Soccer Etc. Only cash will be accepted for fines.
Q. I have filled out my registration form, where or who do I leave it with?
A. You can leave your ISSA form, with your fees or paid credit card receipt, at Soccer Etc. Put form and fee/receipt of payment in Player Registration envelope. Fill out all information on the outside of envelope. Get a receipt. DO NOT MAIL YOUR REGISTRATIONS TO SISL.
Q. What parts of the ISSA Form do I need to fill out?
A. You need to fill out sections A, B, and C. Turn the form over and print, sign and date sections D and E. All this information is required or you will not get your player card.
Q. Is my Social Security Number required?
A. No. Your SSN is not required on the form.
Q. What form do I fill out for a second team?
A. You need to fill out a white ISSA form. Soccer Etc will have these forms. Dual registration is also available online.
Q. When can I pick up my card during the season?
A. At the start of every season, Players or Team Captains can start picking up their cards two weeks before the first games. Registration during the season, after games have started, which are dropped off by Wednesday at Soccer Etc, can be picked up the following Saturday after 1pm.
Q. I registered but didn't get my card, now what?
A. Contact the SISL Player Registrar. All players must pay all fines must before they can register! Click here to view current yellow and red card list.
Q. I got injured and can't play, can I get a refund?
A. No. Once a player has paid for his registration there are No Refunds. Regardless if you play Zero games or 7 games. Be sure you are ready to play when you pay.

NOTE: All fines and fees from past seasons are to be paid in cash per the league rules before you can play. You are responsible for the payment and keeping track of paying the fine. The league is not responsible for lost or non-notation of payment. It is your responsibility to get a receipt should there be a dispute in the future. If there is no record of payment being made by registration time at the beginning of the next season you will be responsible for the payment of all fines not paid and ones with no record of payment. Always get a receipt.
