Slide tackling is NOT permitted. One time violation of this rule will be considered dangerous play and will result in an indirect free kick–it should be noted that sliding away from an opponent (e.g. to keep the ball in play) is not a tackle, even though it is a sliding play on the ball, and therefore, should not be called a foul. Those that want to continue to slide tackle into players will be removed from the field and the league.

A CO-ED competitive team shall have on the field a maximum of eleven (11) players. The goalkeeper may be of either gender. The remaining ten (10) field players shall contain a MAXIMUM of six (6) male field players. In order to prevent a forfeit, a team must play with at least 7 players.

If a male player is sent off, the team shall play with that same number of male field players, or less, for the remainder of the game. If a female player is sent off, the team shall play with that same number of female field players, or less, for the remainder of the game. Additional player(s) send-off shall be handled in a comparable manner.

Own goals count as a goal scored.

All drop balls must be taken by two women players. Penalty kicks, free kicks, and throw-ins may be taken by either sex.

Unlimited substitutions are permitted on any dead ball situation Confirm with the official before the start of the game. This means any throw-in, free kick, drop ball, penalty kick, injury, or any other stoppage of play. You can sub on the fly as long as the player being subbed does not touch the ball.

Teams shall be held responsible for the actions of their players, coaches, managers and fans. Whenever a team’s players, coaches, managers or fans through their actions violate the rules or the spirit of the game, the League will have the right to penalize not only the offending players, coaches, managers or fans, but also the team itself, for such violations.

Fees are non-refundable.

Any and all matters not provided for in these rules shall be determined by the Prime Time CO-ED League officers.
