Prime Time Competitive Coed Rules

SISL Rules & Guidelines and Disciplinary apply unless otherwise specified: Rules & Guidelines and Disciplinary.

Open coed, teams will play 7v7. This bracket is open to all skill levels and ages 16 years and older.

NEW: Roster limit is 18

Seasons include spring, summer & fall, games are held on Monday evenings.

Games will be played on Monday evenings. Overflow games will be played on Thursdays.

Games are played at Ann Morrison Park, Ivywild Park, Cassia Park, Winstead Park, & Shoshone Park.

Co-ed group A champions for the spring season will be eligible to compete in the Idaho State Coed Cup, held in Twin Falls in August. Must be players on your roster for that spring season. (The tournament is 9v9.)

Slide tackling is NOT permitted. One time violation of this rule will be considered dangerous play and will result in an indirect free kick–it should be noted that sliding away from an opponent (e.g. to keep the ball in play) is not a tackle, even though it is a sliding play on the ball, and therefore, should not be called a foul. Those that want to continue to slide tackle into players will be removed from the field and the league.

If a male player is sent off, the team shall play with that same number of male field players, or less, for the remainder of the game. If a female player is sent off, the team shall play with that same number of female field players, or less, for the remainder of the game. Additional player(s) send-off shall be handled in a comparable manner.

SISL 7v7 rules apply.

  • Must have minimum 3 women and maximum 3 men on the playing field, excluding the goalkeeper.
  • Must have 4 players to start a game, 1 must be a woman.
  • Women’s goals count as 1 point.
  • No individual male player shall be allowed to score more than three (3) points in any game (including overtime).
  • The goalkeeper may not punt or drop kick the ball but instead can distribute with a throw, normal place kick or dribble kick.
  • The goalkeeper cannot cross the half line, therefore entering the offensive half of the field.
  • Unlimited substitutions on any dead ball.
  • Own goals count as a goal scored.
  • Penalty kicks, free kicks, and throw-ins may be taken by either sex.

Unlimited substitutions are permitted on any dead ball situation Confirm with the official before the start of the game. This means any throw-in, free kick, drop ball, penalty kick, injury, or any other stoppage of play. You can sub on the fly as long as the player being subbed does not touch the ball.

Teams shall be held responsible for the actions of their players, coaches, managers and fans. Whenever a team’s players, coaches, managers or fans through their actions violate the rules or the spirit of the game, the League will have the right to penalize not only the offending players, coaches, managers or fans, but also the team itself, for such violations.

Fees are non-refundable.

Any and all matters not provided for in these rules shall be determined by the Prime Time CO-ED League officers.
